My Story
My aptitude tests in high school always pointed to me becoming a sculptress and I never believed it. However, after careers in music, business, law, and journalism, I finally discovered the truth of those aptitude tests. I love designing jewelry! It makes me bubble with joy inside when I see someone wearing something I've created because it always seems like it was made just for that person.... feels existential!
What started out as a hobby for me when I was chair-bound just to keep busy doing something ended up becoming a new vocation. Beading was the first venture and I was very picky about just working with semi-precious natural stones; then I added crystals to the mix as they were lighter weight. Beading led to wire art, as many times it does. Then, I discovered wonderful teachers of silversmithing, Lorna Jean and Joe Thunderhorse, who have been so generous in their efforts to depart their years of experience and expertise. I thoroughly enjoy working with metals and look forward to designing and fashioning unique adornments just for you!
